2013 Tax increase!

Sorry fellas, I have to vent. Payday is tomorrow for me and I noticed that my check is significantly less than compared to last payday. I also noticed that I'm paying much more in taxes. Didn't Obama PROMISE that anyone making less than $250,000 a year wouldn't see their taxes increase a single dime? Am I wrong in feeling I was lied to once again by this POTUS?

I'm the one earning this money.....and it's MY money! Why does the government feel they can spend it more wisely than I can?

You didn't get the memo? They said they were raising taxes on the rich, duh... thing is anybody not on welfare is now considered rich...  :tongue: :wink:

it is actually the .02% deduction that they gave on FiCA and FMED a few years back .. and now the time for it to end.We got used to having that .02% in our pockets .. Now it back to what it has been for years , A total of .0765 combined ..  It sucks , but it back to the original amount on thsi part .. I have not check the federal taxes though ..

It hit my first check last week and I lost about 30 a week so far

James you can have my job just need someone to give me a better paying one. not by much only need another 10k a year.
