1st annual pontoon poker run on the san jac

strchuc gave me the idea we should get everyone with a part barge nad start a first annual pontoon poker run all the way to kemha.I think this would be a freakin hoot if we can get around 10 party barges together.Loser buys the first round and winner gets the purse and a goofy ass trophy.FEEDBACK.How funny would this be.We can have mrs. love start the race with a flre gun and you tube it.Make up some koozies and t shirts.I am willing to help with the logistics and a little $$.How many members will be interestead how many members have pontoon boats

I knew I should have bought that big old aluminum flatbottom deckboat looking thing I saw out in the weeds awhile back. Would have been perfect for something like this, lol....

Well to be truthfuly honest Duane I just thought about it this morning.I think it would be best in the spring.There are alot of bugs to work out right now.But I figure we can get a couple of flyers out at loves and good times marina and maybe south.we can dress up the boats in as crazy shit and have a parade before the race.I will kick in on some goofy t shirts.I think it will be a blast.I will try and get a distance to the turttle club and try to put together some maps for every boat involved.All input is valuble.and a good ole shot gun start at Loves.What a way to start next season. :smile15:

excellent, gives us time to build a hardtop, and gather some palm fronds...this could get crazy...the bosses pontoon has a nice big pit on it, we'll be cooking for sure. he just won second in a local cook-off...usually comes up with some badass recipes. Plan it. You're in charge. :grin:

I have skied out there many of times back in the day.. Get by a tanker and get one huge wake to jump :smile15:

Smart not at all fun hell fricking yes.. Does get a bit nerve racking seeing those huge whirlpools swirling about behind them, but that just added to the experince... I would not do it today...ok maybe i would older but not much wiser

I would love to help, just not sure how much free time i will have that time of year. Little man is due in March but whatever i can do let me know.
