Well this breaks my soul but I havent been working and some of the bills have to be paid. So I'm gonna sell the Cougar less motor, all electronics fuel everything minus the motor. Comes with painted scoop and air pan. Trailer is solid. Just paid 3800 having the boat custom painted. This boat needs to go asap I'll entertain real offers, but I'm gonna start at $7500. Hull is in excellent shape. Thanks J C.. (903) 391-1180 cell and (903) 584-3767 in evenings at home..  I'll try and get pics up soon

I've been for a couple passes in this boat...very stable, and quick...Spanky took me to 104 and it felt real good....that was with an 8/71 bbc, at the time I believe the boat was running m/e? It needs HP, don't expect to bolt in a 454 with a hydraulic cam and expect it to beat everyone....but it will take what you throw at it. :smile12: and very safe to boot. Good luck with the sale.

Yes rail kit stays bbc engine mounts driveline and I have a set of headers I'll throw in, they are rewarder I think not the twist and I dont have the injector lines the headers are plugged right now. Fuel pump tanks ect. I'm just pulling my motor out and leaving everything else, also have backseat just needs to be dyed or recovered its a dark blue but solid. Like Duane said its very stable at high speeds I'm putting around 900hp on the spray into it and it loves the power. If JDF chimes in he can vouch for it to be fast with current set-up. I bought boat for 11,500 pulled 440 motor built 482 and spent 3800 having it painted so I think the price is better than fair. If not I'll try and keep it. Thanks for everybodys help with this..

Dont really want to sell the TX.  I always wanted one and it feels light as hell and with my motor it should be a pretty good ride. Thanks Tintman for spreading the word..  :smile15:
