175 front end loader

I have a 2155 John Deere tractor with a 175 front end loader.  I have a leaking seal and bought a seal kit.  Removed the snap ring off the cylinder and can not get the cynlinder out of the barrel.  Any suggestions?

We used to chain them to a post and pull them apart with a forklift  :smile30:

Push the Head down into the barrel, if it is like others I have done then there is another keeper that you have to pull out but it can only be seen/removed when the head is pushed into the Barrel a couple inches.

Found it Gas -hole much thanks, now back to the John Deere dealership to get the right kit.

Wow,  you really don't know anything about humor.  That wasn't a joke,  that's how we pulled the big cylinders apart.

On this particular Ram, if you would have forced the cylinder out of the barrel, the cylinder would have been ruined.
