I know it's suppose to hold in heat but My cuz wants to powdercoat the single 4 intake a friend gave me to put on my tx. It will look lots better!! I'll try and post pics when he is done.

Does anyone's rails stickup past the stringers on your boat. I had to raise my rails to make them work with my plates and the top mounting pad is now 1/2 in above the top of the stringer.

I tried putting my motor back in last night with the motor plates I got with the 557 and they are cut too much for my boat. The oil pan hit before the plates touch the rails. If anyone has a set that may work let me know please.

I'm in bad need of some motor plate blocks that bolt the motor plates to the rails if someone has 4 extra laying around.

Should have the new steering, bearing seals replaced, new starter, bigger carbs on by next weekend so I can test! jump.gif

My oldest son turns 13 this weekend so im trying to get his little Jr. dragster ready to go to redline this weekend. he wasnt making very good grades last year and was getting in trouble so he hasnt driven it for a few years. I even put his fast motor on it and it should be two seconds quicker...

I put the regatta on the THB calendar and I noticed there were no other events on it. Will y'all please put the events on there so I can see when the events are in the south?

What events are scheduled for September in the south? We are thinking of having the Tawakoni Hot Boat Regatta the 3rd 4th or 5th weekend of September. I know the outlaws have a Broken Bow event labor day weekend so I don't want to do it the 2nd weekend that way the can have a weekend to chill.

Wow! To get the same dynamic compression from my new motor with the big roller as my current motor has with 9.5:1 static compression and small cam, I will have to setup the new motor up with 11:1 static compression!

As most of you have probably seen I'm picking up that 557 Dallas posted forsale. Don't know what kinda power it will make yet but I'm sure it's more than what I have now and it has forged pistons so I can put a 200-250 shot on it. I may actually get close to triple digits this season!

I tried to start my motor in the boat last night for some friends and the starter didnt engage it just made a horrible sound so i started checking to make sure the starter didnt come loose and found that i have a big a$$ crack in the bell housing where the starter bolts up making the starter...

I'm wanting to replace my two 450s with 750s and I will trade.
