Video from a little different angle

In the spirit of continual testing I mounted the video camera off my ski tow pointing aft to see what was going on back there. First impression is "man that wake looks big" and then it dawned on me the camera was hanging upside down and only about 16" off the floor. I'm not thinking I'm getting quite the "mist" I was hoping for but this was a short run and I had a heavy passenger too. It starts off from an idle then a hard pass, and cruising and goofing from there. Oh well something different.

WOW

What an interesting angle to shoot from. (Looking back)
It's an ideal way to see what your rooster tail is doing.  It looked good to me.

Jim I was looking for a couple of things doing this. First was the rooster tail and second was if and how the outer chines were contacting the water. I need to try and run a full 1/4 mile because it looked like the chines were stating to pick up on that first hard blast but they were still creating some splash. Oh well what did I expect for a heavy old Hondo. lol  think.gif
