If anyone interested in V-Drives enjoys videos, the best place to find them is V-Drive Video. http://www.v-drivevideo.net/
They have a number of DVD videos, but the one I enjoy the most is "RIVER RATS 2". It comes in a 3 hour, 2 disc set and has incredible footage of V-Drive events.
They include places like camp far west, Irvine and the Colorado River.
The footage is incredibly clear and includes video of circle boats, hydros, drag flats and river cruisers.
The footage for the most part is from get togethers similar to what Plowmans was, only at a much higher level.
A little organized racing events are included also.
When viewed on large Hi definition screens, you can't help but be impressed with the picture quality and sound. Put on a set of headphones, turn the volume up you may think you're there.
The River Rats 2 disc set isn't exactly cheap at $65.00, but if you get it, it will be worth every penny. They have others, but start with that one.
Our very own J.J. Beaver is in many of their videos. So, you know they are worth the money.
