Lake Whitley went from few feet under pool level Easter weekend to 22 feet over on the 13th. Now it dropping around 1/2 to 3/4’ per day now. But the websites does not show that there releaseing any water, so my wife and I were close to the dam today and went to check it out. What we found is the flood gated leak that much water around the sides of the gates. So maybe a month we may be able to use the lake . Will keep you posted. JJ

Getting back to Whitney for a second, the lake continues to drop at a good rate 1/2 to 3/4 foot per day.  Hopefully, we'll get our playground back reasonably soon.
We should be going into a dryer time of year and that should help

Canyon, Travis and Belton are all near full pool, ie boatable. Somerville is still 13 feet over. At the rate they are letting water out it will be down to full pool Nov. 1. :smile25:

Could be. I don't know if the parks are open or will be open. They may have water damage again. By mid August the lake will be around 8' over full. The event is in mid September. That will help.
