What a crazy weekend. I can't believe that we run a 5:601 rite out of the box.. That got us #1 qualifier. We then left the tune alone to see what a difference the air would make as the day progressed. The boat ran a 5:95.  That was way off the mark of what we where thinking it would do. So then came the inspection, re-torque the heads , shorten the prop shaft and so on. The boat ran a 6:20 and we where out of it at that point. So after doing allot of homework, we believe that we are loosing a mag box. Looks like it is time for a new mag and box so we have something a little more common. That's racing folks! :smile13: :smile13: :smile13: :smile13: :smile13:

Man it was a cold weekend for sure. I don't think I like racing in the cold weather! We didn't break anything, but had our fare share of problems. Shrinking parts cause switch adjustments to change. And helmet visors fog up when you go to make a pass! All of which we remedied, but it was a learning experience for sure. All in all getting the opportunity to go race with our boating family was worth it for sure! Next season we will be on point! :smile30:

Was it normal weather for this time of year or just kinda caught everyone by surprise? Saw a video somewhere, folks were all bundled up, lol. Didn't much look like racing weather.  :smile20: :smile16:

It was 88 deg Thursday, and 45 deg Friday. I think they need to move that one up by a week or three! Just to make sure we don't get caught in that again.  think.gif

It's race time again! Marble Falls this weekend. Unfortunately our tuner Tim will be stuck at home recovering from illness. So we will see how we can do with some remote tuning advice! :smile14:
