OK. The first paintjob using Interlux Brightside (single stage polyurethane) didn't work out so well.
It blistered. Mike Kent at Interlux was kind enough to come take a look, and he attributed it to moisture trapped in old layers of auto paint that hadn't been completely removed. He was also kind enough to provide Awlcraft 2000 two-part polyurethane (think Imron) for the repaint, which David Anderson and the hot-rod guys at Anderson Paint & Body in Huntsville agreed to do. (They don't want a mediocre paint job running around with their name on it.)
David wanted to add the flames, which he did in silver metallic. What do you think?
