I was thinking about composites for my TX19 , but all of the ones I found were odd shaped . I might decide to look into it further when I get a chance to get to work on it . It would be nice to know that the stringers will never rot out again , and the weight savings is nice too .

I was looking into composites for my rebuild however I chose not to use them..... they are worth looking into though.

i think a light layup tx19 with composites would fly, theres abother buy who makes his rear seat frames out of fiberglass covered foam as opposed to wood to save weight too. if i were doing stringers i think the composite would be the only option for me.

Mines not a light lay , probably about medium . But with the weight savings from going composite I was thinking I might get close to the weight of a light layup with the strength of the medium .
