B&M 420 Mega Blower Front cover

Need your help,

I have a gasket leak on the snout on a 420 mega blower. I have removed all of the bolts from the front cover housing and ran a razor around the gasket area to break the seal. But for some reason the cover will not come off.  :smile12:

  :smile15:  if the front is any thing like a jimmey or like style units  inside the blower snout is splined  and fit's in a female reciver inside the blower side of case , ie  gears  and will require a light tapping on the blower snout , all the while wiggling and pulling blower snout forward to disengaage the splined gears  hope this helps  P.S.  a light tapping as to not dmg. the unit or your really cool polish job.  :smile15:  then again you might want to call one of the blower  mfg. or rebuil houses.  blower drive service . com  the blower shop . com    or holly . com whom i belive bought  the mega blower brand.
