I can get pics when I go home again, but first I thought I'd see if there was any interest.
Basically I have a complete, but disassembled 468 big block Olds. When it was last run a freeze plug came out and but the engine also got water (probably a quart in 10 minutes of run time) in the crank case. The engine was disassembled to find where the leak was...but the shop couldn't find anywhere that water could get into the motor. I didn't progress farther in finding it, since I put an LS1 in the purple boat instead of fiddling with the BBO.
Anyway, here's what I have:
- G casting heads with Comp (I think) roller tip rockers
- 8 high compression piston assemblies (pistons, rings, wrist pins, rods) that all look good
- Crank, will need to be turned, but should be ok
- Block
- Cam - don't currently know anything about the specs of it
- Offenhauser 2 piece tunnel ram intake with single carb top
- MSD Pro Billet dist
- MSD marine ignition box
- Aluminum front and rear motor plates with water pump block off plate
- Mondello valve covers
- Log exhaust manifolds with snails
