another Ford 460 build underway

Shooting for next summer release as long as the cash flows in a positive direction......Got a screaming deal on this '78 460 truck block, std bore uncut...going to bore it .030...crank was shot, rods the same....scored a fresh cut .010/.010 460 crank...got a set of brand new Ford double dimple A75 truck rods...the ones they used in the early 460-514 performance crate motors...the best factory forged rod Ford produced for the 460 ala 1990 to the end of production. and last but not least a set of 1971 DOVE-C factory 429 75cc heads....planning to port and install oversize ss valves. hope to get 550- 600 hp on this one.......my current engine will have to get me through one more summer.

Nice start Frank.  If it is any where near as detailed a build as your boat restoration it will be a screamer.

Yes on putting it together.....I used to do it for a living (mr goodwrench) back in the day...I may be a little rusty but it'll come back to me....
