Probably not the right forum for this boat, but figured id post this up here as well to see if there was any interest.  I thought about buying it, but the one boat i have is enough for me at the moment.

The boat is a 79 Glastron V-192 sea rider open bow, blue/white with blue interior. Engine is a 175 Johnson sea-horse, an 80' model. Sitting on a magnum trailer made in 90'.

This boat has sat unconverted since atleast 2001/2002 as that was when they last registered it. Since its been sitting outside uncovered, the interior is trashed.

I don't know how many hours are on it, it the condition of the engine. It belongs to my neighbor who is looking to get rid of it and I said Id help.

Trying to figure out if its worth selling as a restroable project or try and salvage the engine and scrap the hull. This boat was made here in Austin so its kinda cool that its probably been in central Texas its whole life.

Thanks for any and all help and advice you can give.

To be honest its a BO kind of deal, as i cant really find any good info on what it may or may not be worth.  The plug is out of the back, so i know its never been allowed to fill with water as it sat, but other than that i do not know any history.

I could use that motor on the 21 promaster.  Might actually get a boat running on the water lol.  And yeah I knew someone would chime in with a comment.
