4 point to rail kit conversion????

Been thinking about something and wanted to see yall's input.

I have a four point mounting system now, could i not just make some corners blocks and convert it into a rail kit??
That is of course unsing angle along the stringers with a backer pc of flat stock???

I've used rear 4point bellhousings on rail kits....just needs a lil trimming.

Have a mill, lathe and plasma cutter here at work.. I figured I should be able to make it work..'
Just seemed to easy to be true.
