1976 Brendella Pantera . Great shape.Floor and stringers are in good cond, no cracks or delam anywhere. 10 degree casale with 15 gears. Newly rebuilt prop. Nice trailer, clean paper. Rides like a jet boat and hauls the mail like a Runner Bottom. This boat is wonderful for people with bad backs...

I'm curious about engine placement. I have heard people ask about correct engine placement on flat bottoms and got to thinking. The motor in my boat is sitting back quite far when compared to other v-drives , would I bennefit from a speed standpoint if I moved it up and how far would I move it...

76 Brendella something or other. 468, Merlin 119 cc rect heads, 1050 Dom , Crane cam , steel crank, Perf pistons, casale ? dergree box with ? % gears. Has a reverse! I never saw one of these before! I don't have any numbers because the first thing I had to do was send the prop off to be done...

I have a 76 Brendella gullwing/ runner bottom v-drive. What is the correct distance from the transom to set this engine? It just seems rear end heavy. TIA dragally

Took the boat out last night and the box has a grinding noise in it. It goes in gear and drives but it grinds. This is a Casale with a forward, neutral and revers! I never saw one with reverse before. Any way what the He!! could be going on here? Where do I start and what do I do???

I am looking at a hydro that has a small block 400 built in it. The guy says it Turns 6500 to 6800 rpms with 1.09 to 1 overdrive gears with 16'  Kindsvater  cleaver prop. Does this seem like enough power to not be laughed at ? It's supposed to weigh 1500 empty.He says it is putting out 500 hp...
