WTB: "Basket Case" cruiser

I have been looking and looking for a lake ready boat that is both what I am wanting, and in my price range, with no luck. So I have decieded to jst do another restoration. That way I will know exactly what is in it, and what problems I may run into. I know in the long run it will cost me alot more, but atleast it will be done the way I want it done, and with the power, color and style that I like.

So here are the requirements I am looking for......

Must be a mini day cruiser v-drive or jet
20-21 feet
berk pump
tandum trailer
no major repairs needed
MUST HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN HAND
Price range depends on condition of thehull, but thinking $1k is a good rounded number. Would pay more if it doesnt need a complete restoration.

If any of yall know of something please keep me in mind. Might even be a small "finders fee" for the right deal.

Yea, thats the one we were talking about the other day. Not so sure on the olds, but like you said I can sell it. Still a lil more then I would wanna pay for it. Been thinking about making him an offer, but I really dont want to insult him. If he knocked off 5 or 600 we might couldmake a deal.  :smile12:

Bert I did see a Sleekcraft, looked like one of those Aristocrats, but wasn't a tunnel hull. Its gotta be at least a 20 footer, don't recall the length on them. $850 bucks.... looks to have good bones, but will definitely need some love.  I didn't post it cuz while it is does match your description pretty much, not sure if it would fall in the "cruiser" category.. I can find it again if ya want?

The guy emailed me back, but I am waiting on pics. I'm not gonna drive all the way to Hurst just to "look it over"
