Just would much rather get killed by someone off THB than CL  :smile27:  jk

Feel that people on THB would be a little more trust worthy

At least the seller is willing to get the block checked out for you , but I do agree with you . I would rather spend money with someone here than someone I don't know .

Good thing you just want the block. I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for that pile of sh**. It has obviously seen a few rain storms and we know how long it had been since the rain came to Texas.

This confuses me.

"I bought it expecting to rebuild but it would not accept my pistons. It is a standard deck and is stock"  What pistons would not fit a std bore block?"

Maybe he does not want to pay to bore it?  Seems to me that block needs to be bored anyway by looking at it.  The Pontiac block in my boat looked worse than that before a trip to the builder.

Matt I was thinking the same thing.  But you get all kinds of idiots these days.

Who knows? I still say that if the block and crank check out ok and the guy is reasonable it could be a decent deal.

Agreed I stand by what I said earlier offer the guy $250 and see if he takes it.
