Which spot on the river did everyone like better?      Banana Bend or DSO?


Personally I enjoyed DSO, just would have preferred they had run UP river (I heard there was wind blowing out of the North) with the finish line being in front of the beach

Where is it gonna be January 2013???(

If you show up and spend your money you should count the same as anyone else . But we are members of THB , not the bayou boys .

ByuBoyz wanted to have it at Bananna Bend last year, however Bananna Bend wanted to charge a ridiculous price to have it there.  Remember this is an event where nobody makes money so they squeezed themselves out.  Hopefully they (Bananna Bend) will realize this and have it back.

I know that , but the money to pay for the event has always come from the people attending the event . There are lots of options to raise more money at the event . When it was at Banana Bend there was never any food or drinks for sale . There was never any event shirts for sale . If they want to raise more money so the event can still be had at Banana Bend I would try to get a little more creative than just asking for a few bucks at the gate .

I understand but like I said it was ridicules high.  DSDR might not have there event there either because they jacked the price so high.  Last year they were in their last class of racing at DSDR and Bananna Bend made them shut down before they finished.  crazy.gif

i was told the byuboyz had a time limit on that event that is why they were shut down.
