What's a good price for a 500-550 HP long block that is pretty fresh? Eagle rods, hyper pistons, racing bearings, ported aluminum pro comp heads, comp roller rockets, hardened 3/8 push rods.

I'm good man. May have found the problem with the Ford motor's oil pressure. Read a thread on another boating forum where a guy had the same problem. Great pressure at idle, dropping off with RPM. He put a mechanical gauge on it and the pressure was fine. The gauge sender combo was wrong.

Don't sell it , keep it for a back up motor .. Those 500-550 HP engine no mater what brand last a long time and you can just run the snot out of them with no problem , Run all day and have fun in it ....

Build the bigger -meaner engine and put in the boat and keep the old one for when something happens to it and it will , no matter if it is Chevy or Ford ..

More Horsepower the faster they break !!!!

you want another glastron? i was at our honda dealer at lake livingston yesterday, and he has a glastron with a 460 complete sitting in it, seems the guy just left the boat sitting there, and never came back
