Knotty speed was only about 45 last time I saw it running  :smile30: If the flux capacitor is good for an extra 90MPH I need one  think.gif jump.gif

I have always been curious but didn't want to come out and ask... (in case you had a grudge race lined up) Since you don't own it anymore, How well does this boat run?

What little bit I got to see him run out at the Winter NAtionals it looked like it was a fairly fast boat , but far from the fastest boat in that crowd . I would not think it is a $12.5k boat , but it isn't junk either .

Not one to make excuses but at WN I had a plug wire off and map sensor vacume hose not conneted.  I was running too high of a pitch for 1/8 drag.  When everything was right it ran pretty darn good.

I have no idea what he is doing or thinking.  I liked the boat and really liked driving it.  I just hope someone gets it that will enjoy it like I did.

This guy is something else.  I took him out in the boat and it was not getting fuel properly.  I told him I would fix it.  He wanted to trade for the Road King Harley.  I was taking too long getting to it and he said he was inpatient and wanted to trade now and he would fix it.  He came up with the terms of the trade, I spoke with Karol and we agreed.  Did the trade and I fronted him some money to get it repaired (more than enough).  We exchanged titles and went our separate ways.  He sent me a text and said he wanted to trade back a week later.  I told him we have already registered the title and then basically called me a liar.  It was over a week.  Did he think I was just going to set on the title work.  crazy.gif  Funny how he immediately cashed the check.  I told him several time I will just keep the boat but he insisted on the trade.  I am  straight shooter on any deal I do, ticks me off he is trying to act as if I did him wrong.  Again I just hope someone ends up with the boat that will appreciate all the work I had put into it and enjoy it.

There's no doubt you're a straight shooter Henry. He seems like one of those nervous types that is hard to get along with. I know those types very well.

X2.  We all know you are more than a fair guy to deal with.  Guy probably just thought he wanted a boat.  Now he realizes how much is involved in actually owning one.

I've bought and sold 15 jet boats in the last 25 years. I've heard a lot of horror stories about buyers wanting refunds or complaining about things weeks after they bought the boat...After selling 14 of them I only had one guy that was a asshole. After hearing all the stories that's pretty good odds...

You knew he was an idiot when he put the boat up for sale for more than you were asking for it! crazy.gif
