Well, After some of the events that happened this summer, and due to a lot of complaints about the weather for the last couple of years, Sandy and I have decided not to hold Hydrofest this spring. A lot of it has to do with finances, and we have a once in a lifetime chance to travel to Hawaii with friends coming up in March. Also will be making Eddie Hills in May. Due to stress and money restraints, this is our decision. Hope everyone understands, and maybe we'll do something in Summer/Fall. There is no frickin' way I'm missing out on going to the big island..... :grin:

Congratulation Duane .. I would pick going to Hawaii anyday over a boating event  . Hope you have fun on the big Island .. Maybe one of thse days I will make it over there ..

Nothing wrong with takin a break if ya need to. :wink: I remember you did at least 2 Hydrofest deals in the latter part of the summer few years ago & they went well.... one in August & one in October I believe.

Maybe you can find Obama's birth certificate while your over there, lol... :grin:

Guys, I am so stoked....Hawaii may not be all that, but I'm gonna relax and induldge in the theme.
Already have a place lined up. :grin: And car rented. My good friend owns a t-shirt shop in Hilo, they are gonna have a block party for us when we get there. Good news is the plane fare, food and beer are free for the trip. I am paying for the house and car. :smile16:

Duane and Sandy go and have a great time. I spent 4 years there and loved it. The big island is one of the best in the Hawian chain. If we decide to go to Coletta we can handle it.
