Man,  it's so beautiful here on the coast, small light breeze from the east and the sun was shining without a cloud in the sky,  and a nice toasty 72*  :smile16:

Nice ride... v-6 with a blower? factory? Never heard of somethin like that, pretty cool. 20 years old & 80K on the clock, sweet. Bought my Lightning new in '95, last year of the first gen Lightnings, when they made the fewest. Had 7 miles on it. Been through hell n' back in that thing. Little over a hundred K on it now. Not much of the original sheet metal left on it though. Barb wire fence can be nasty...

the blower on it is factory,  basically the reason i bought the car.......  :smile17:  i was close to a year later when i found and article in Road & Track magazine,  saying the people that bought mercury cars didn't like the performance and the 5 speed,  and the following year they started puting the 302 and auto in it.....  the thunderbird has the same thing in that year model but not sure how long they offered the blown v-6 and 5 speed.....  i thought the cougar was a better looking car

So you washed it so it could go sit back in the barn? Least it'll look nice for the barn critters.

And c'mon man, all that country road out there, ain't nobody gonna be out there to give you no trouble...

LOL, my work truck sticker went out in March... colored the 3 in to look like an 8 to buy some time. Hard to make an 8 look like an 11 though. :cheesy:

you got it,  washed it,  shammied it,  let it dry,  drove it right back to the barn,  the cats sure were eyeballing it,  thought about a small cruise,  but the sherrif deputies like to cruise out here also,  so the don't have to do anything.... so why make 'em work  :smile30:
