Over the transom outlets

My boat came from the factory with over the transom outlets on the manifolds.  It currently has "snails" or "Peatraps".  Do I get any benefit from going back to the over the transom outlets?

I wouldn't think there would be that much difference in actual performance. It probably be a little louder & if you like the looks of OT exhaust it would give you that. I honestly don't know though, thats just my opinion man.. :grin: I'm sure somebody else will chime in.
