The water at Palestine Saturday was good for a while, out early, (10:00), and managed to burn up about 20 or so gallons of fuel (not a big trick). Wifey and I started picking wind up about 2-3 and I decided old age and stealth seemed smarter than valor and bravery. It was a nice outing, shook down some more minor stuff like leaking jet bowl cover, and an air scoop that likes to wear its hat backward. I thought I saw one squirter on the water, but he was way ahead of me and going towards the marina at 155 like he needed to be there right now.... might have been one of those rooster tail bass boats, who knows. Did manage to get some sun and learned some more water above the 155, (found some of it is way shallow too). Well that is the saga of Stealth for this weekend. Get um together, fire um up and float um, that water needs sucking in and squirting out just to rotate it.
