Seems the forum is divided somewhat by this north/south crap and all this talk about Fords. I know Sturat's Ford will get down-Esa's Tx will haul the mail-so since its winter and the BENCH racing is on-I have two questions for you guys-WHO HAS THE FASTEST FORD JET ON THE BOARD???? NOTE I SAID THB members-JET ON THE BOARD!!! Anyone bust 100mph??? or is 55-65 the norm???? HOW FAST IS YOUR FORD?????Post up!
Note-i found a twin turbo ford tunnel that i can buy for less than my wife carries in her purse and may do it just to play with you guys! My Dad has always been a Ford man and still to this day drives a 1951 f-100.So this isn't Ford /Chevy debate-just talkin Fords.... :smile17:

:smile30: great post!!

Unfortunatley, I have a slower Ford......for now anyway. None the less, I've always been a Ford guy so I'm a little partial to the Blue Oval.

Its all good to be proud of the Fords-My grandfather -told me way back that he could take his 62ford ranchero and a Sears and Roebuck Catalog and out run my 67Camaro! I had to believe him cause he'd busted my azz if i said otherwise! hahaha! clap.gif

100 mph Ford?  think.gif

I'm not being ugly but, I can't honestly say I've ever seen one.  At least that I knew of anyway.  Let the search begin!  clap.gif

Some one has to have one! With all the stroker and head stuff the aftermarket makes for Ford...A 557 should do it?Yes/No?I think Esa is close in his tx19.(from our talks) Some one will know-or is Esa the man? :smile17: Just looking for fastest mph. :smile16:

I do, on the other hand, have a little background in building a stroker ford...and I know they work. Just a little more expensive than the chevy. And the peer pressure is more than most can take.... so it's a toss up....

Built a lot of motors in my day, Pontiac, olds, Buick, Chevy's, fords.......like the Pontiac the most....but they have to be built correctly, and are high$...the bbf can be a monster, but the cost vs. the parts availability compared to a bbc is.....ummmm..comparable, but different. I've had people give me hell all my life for being a Ford man...no big deal....they run just like any other....I like being different. Just my way. I'll help anyone I can here..been building motors for 30+ years....whatever I can do , I will.

Cool man-its all American iron in my opinion. My first car was a 67 Mustang-loved it! And kicked some Chevy butt with it! Thinkin it might be cool to have both in the garage. This tunnel has been tucked away for awhile and would be a cool project.  :smile17: But then again-beer and tequila makes you wonder sometimes!HAHA!

well i certainly don't have a fast boat,  and do have a BBF tucked away in it.... not because the motor wouldn't be fast,  just because the boat is heavy like a barge,  and never was designed to bust 70mph.....  :smile29:

put have plans for a project "X"  :smile30: ....triple digits with any power plant, is all about pump and boat set up  :smile29:

i would like to really know it there is BBF 100mph boat out there myself  think.gif

I hit 88.6 on GPS with JC in the Baker with me. B impellar turning 6400 rpm. I was just starting to do some fine tuning when it broke. I guess that dosen't count now since the engines broke.
I learned a couple of things and will make the proper changes with the new block. Hopefully by spring if my big truck will stay together.

I don't think Tintman was bashing Fords in his first post, only asking the question is there a 100 MPH Ford among us.  I just crossed over to the Ford power in my boat and I am really excited to find out how it runs.  I probably don't have a 100 mph boat, but with my maturity level I probably don't need one.  I personally don't care what another Hot Boat crazy has in his or her ride.  It's the need for speed, the adrenline rush and the beer that makes my day.
