Well the city of Granbury and the BRA have done it again. It seems that a few months ago Granbury had a surplus of water that they had purchased from the BRA. they sub leased or sold their surplus down stream for 1.2 million. Starting tomorrow Sept 1 they are going to release 2" of water a day. We will be 9.7 feet low by the end of Oct. We are now 4.5 feet low with only 2 ramps open on the whole lake.  You ask where does the water go... Lake Whitney
"(Plowman's) then on down stream. Who are they selling to... towns and business like Dow hemicals on the coast. If you think we are going to be low.... Plowman's Dry by end of Oct with no rain forecasted, The cove we live in will be dry by then. OH well so much for boating on Granbury.

If you want to know where the water goes, try natural gas drilling.  They use 1.5 to 6 million gallons of water on every well that is fracked.  Fort Worth alone has nearly 2000 wells.  The water that is brought back out of a fracked well is so toxic, it is required to be put in injection well 9000 feet underground where the water will never be seen again.  Each well is fracked numerous times over its life.

Don't forget there is a water shortage and DO NOT WATER YOUR YARD.

That really sucks . The Tax people just increased my dad empty lake lot form $32,000 to $72,000 this year and now there is now water touching his retaining wall .  What a bunch of bull sh*t

The gas wells are taking a lot of the water out of the lake and no telling who they sold it to .The City is out of controll here .. ..
