I went a few weeks back to get my physical for racing.  Well I failed  :smile18: my blood pressure was way too high.  The Dr. told me I had to loose some weight and put me on blood pressure meds.  I went back in two weeks and passed the second time. I set a goal to be under 200# by this week.  I just went and weighed and I was under my mark.  That was over 20#, I have set another goal to get to #180 by Christmas.  :smile30:  Made it public to keep me on track.  My final goal is to get rid of my  4" fat boy sipper extention on my race jacket.  :smile16:

whatcha doin to drop the weight? That's a good deal man, way to go.

Been walk, jogging 2 miles every day, and really watching what I have been eating.  No bread, chips, and crap.

Cool. Will ya'll will have to re-tune the Kurtis to make up for the weight reduction?

Great news, Henry! I also started a little workout routine, about 30 minutes every morning before sunrise...lol I'm only up to 1/2 mile with the running thing, tho. Mostly high-school type exercises. Not to lose weight, to build some stamina for up-coming vacations... :smile16:

And I do feel better. :smile17:

When I started I could not jog. 5 knee surgeries (one knee replacement) and fat it was very hard. You are correct I feel so much better with more energy.

In April, Sandy, Grady and myself are going to Hawaii. It is a life-long dream of my mother, (as well as myself) to go. Kinda going in my mom's honor, on her birthday week. We have all kinds of stuff planned that require a lot of physical activity. I want to be in shape. :smile28:
