Weather permitting I am taking the Rebel out for the first run with the new power.  Word is Donnie will be testing as well.  Should be there around 5:00.  I still need a water dump fitting and I have that ordered from Rex.  Nothing a little duct tape wont fix for testing.

go easy on that 67' goat block......break it in sloooowly....LOL!  Edited to add I have an extra s/s dump fitting...just gotta drive over to denton and drink a beer with me and it's yours :smile27:  cancel that order with rex....you can get this one faster and free!  beer is optional.....

Ten minutes ago, I just finished replacing the impeller on the Whaler motor. Tomorrow might be a good time to test it out.........depending on the weather.

Thanks for the offer Frank.  I'd take you up on that but I ordered a blue anodized one since I am putting it in the blue part of the gel.  I also ordered one to replace the plastic one I have for the bilge.  They were only 12.99.  I'd spend that much in gas going to Denton and back in my truck.  LOL.  Still need to figure a way to have a beer together though.  We never managed a Wed dinner any closer to you over the winter.

No problem....its just been sitting in my tool box (its a new one) for the last 15 years...doing nothing....the same exact one I use for my bilge has lasted 23 yrs so far.......love that s/s....

Hell.....we'd love to have you guys from the east side visit us here on Lake Lewisville some time...we do have some nice smooth water coves and twin peak scenery if you get my drift.....

Frank. Been to Lewisville a few times and each time had issues with drunks in high powered boats almost running us down. Have they cracked down on that stuff?? Not wanting to sound like an old man, I bring my kids with me all the time.

been there done that....nothing a little roost cant fix..ha..ha...us local jet boat owners have our favorite spots here on lake lewisville...the wannabe offshore racers stay on the open water near the dam between sneaky petes and charlies 121....btw charlie 121 died a couple of years ago but the bar has since reopend under a new owner.....

Okay cool...so you know what I'm talking about then. Yes, that's about where I was over near the dam and Sneaky Petes. Haven't been back on that lake since April 2008. But since y'all have a good spot for the jets, I might have to head out there one day over the Memorial day weekend.

where we hang you have mostly wakeboard boats...but a little roost will drive them off...ha...ha...ask hellinfrnt...lol...

Those days are numbered.  OK recently revised it's boating while intoxicated laws.  AZ, NV and CA have also started cracking down.  You will still have idiots piloting those boats but the drunk ones will be on the way to jail.  It's not going to happen over night but I bet 5 years from now the boating while drinking crowd will have changed drastically.

thats funny because last saturday at the summer breakout bash in okmulgee i had a jetski coming at me to jump right behind my boat and i waved him off so he wouldnt but he kept coming so guess what i did??? lol lol, yep threw up the roost and got him good, i never saw him around my boat again, cant figure out why,, think.gif,,lol lol lol

Hope today works out for ya. I think the weather should hold out......30% chance of some rain between 3-5pm so after that, you should be good to go.

Got soccer practice this afternoon or else I'd be there helping ya out.
