Looking forward to hanging with you guys my boat is as follows: 1977 Blanchard, 509BBC, around 680-700 hp on pump gas with Lucas octane booster, cnc ported aluminum heads complete ARP hardware long and short block, solid Lunati valve train, with stud girdles, Eagle forged rods, pistons and crank, built for spray but haven't really needed it yet!! Pump is as follows split bowl berk, B- stainless impeller, ride plate, droop with 5 degree wedge, place diverter, spooned bottom because boat has a minor hook in the bottom, with 1/8 shoe below the keel, knife edged race grate loader, seeing about 6100- 6300 rpm's, pump built by Brady Kimbrough, still wanting to do inducer on next build, it would really help my hole shot!!  Boat GPS'ed @ 93-94 mph on hand held phone GPS with two people in boat. The boat has been in my family since the boat was new in 1977, I was in my moms stomach in this boat, been life long dream to restore it and finally did in 2004. All my machine work is done my G&G performance and in my opinion they are the best in the business. Hope to see all you guys again had a great time.

Man, it was nice meeting you.  That boat really flys!  Looking forward to seeing on the water again soon.  Thanks again for the hardware on the cavitation plate!  I was looking all over for you later in the afternoon then, I saw you already loaded up.  I wanted to at least give you a ride or line up or whatever.  The water got a little better there toward the end.

Give them 53s hell!  :smile17:  See y'all soon.

Not sure who I met either but, had a great freaking time, I live in Cypress, Tx. I go to Summerville often but never see many jet boats, we are usually in my ski boat with the family. Had a really great time and love to race, I come from a drag boat family!!!

Haha, well, anytime you want to go to Somerville and take the family on the ski boat, just let me know, I'll come pick up your Jet and drag it up to the lake with you, that way you can have both there!  I promise I won't let any soot build up in the motor!

Glad to have some info on the boat, and welcome to THB. You made me feel like I was in my daycruiser the way you went around me. I am good friends with Joe also, and maybe one day I will get my boat figured out, and we can try again. That thing was getting after it for sure. clap.gif :smile30:
