How low is sommerville ?

Does any one know if sommerville is really low due to the lack of rain?

ya i hope so. on easte.r my uncle ran his boat on a sand bar past snake island it didnt hurt any thing but it gave us a scare i just dont want andy chances to be taken you know

just got back from there the water is fine it has gone down a lot since two weeks ago though, all in all is only around 2 ft low, if some one wants to run there boat over those rock like a welch last year, there gonna have to pick it up and over, found 4ft of water at the hump in the middle of the lake but other than that its ok

there is a low spot in the middle of the lake?

its called the hump, its in the middle of the lake up the lake from rocky creek about even with those boulders that stick out of the water, it is usually 6-8 ft deep there, it a bluff bank on the creek bed, cause  a few feet to the north is 19-21ft deep, good place to catch stripers in the spring.

Yea, its really not that low. They actually let water out so they could do some work on the damn by the spillway. They are also gonna do some erosion work on some of the banks.
