Is there such a thing? Or suggestions of a place to pick up a Corvette wheel?

Son in law has these on his Firebird, been told they are off a C6 'vette, 18x10.5... Knocked a chunk out of one the other day. I dunno, looks expensive. :cheesy:

Ebay is one place I did tell him to check. I bought a Lightning wheel from ebay few years ago, came from some shop in Houston that repaired wheels. I told him to look into that as well, just gettin his repaired.

I'll mention these other two suggestions to him as well, thanks...

Probably should pull the wheel and check it.  While it is a Corvertte style wheel it was very common for people to put after market wheels that look like Vette wheels but are not actual Vette wheels.  They are really not that expensive if it is a clone wheel.

That wheel could also be repaired.  I've seen much worse fixed.  I had a buddy get one fixed by Wheel Technologies here in Dallas that was every bit as bad as that one.  They have a Houston location.  Look through the images on their site.

He's got it off the car & pulled the tire off the wheel already. I'm not sure who he is talking to about them, but whoever it was is who told him that they were 'Vette wheels & that replicas could be had, but they are not exactly the same. So that said, he doesn't want a mismatched wheel on their which is perfectly understandable.

I'll send him that website, thanks. They are in Louisiana now, but it could be shipped. This is the website I sent him to earlier, I haven't heard back if he's made any progress or not.

Go to a discount tire or one of the other tire dealers.  Tell them what you are looking for and they should be able to lead you to someone who deals with used wheels.  They damage wheels or lose caps occasionally and work with numerous people who come around that can locate replacements.  If one dealer doesn't help, try another one, they have contacts.

GOOD LUCK

look up a place called rollos over on 45 north in houston. they fix wheels like that. might be easier than trying to match.
