What's everyone been up to? I thought I would drop in and say hello, haven't seen or talked to anyone for three years. :smile24:

I don't know what to do with my boats...haven't had my v-drive in the water since summer 2009 and the last time I used our 26' Chaparral was once in 2010. It has 52 hours on it, I put a Derebery 540 EFI in it in 2009 and that has 5 hours on it.

My knees got so effed up after they were replaced I have gone on disability and can't do s hit anymore. The pain is terrible, Cookieman knows what I mean. I'm going on Medicare in April and planning on seeing new doctors. Right now my insurance deductible is so high I can't afford to do anything.

I would like some advice about selling my Howard...several of you have seen it, if I can find someone looking for an all original 1967 classic in unbelievable condition I will sell it. Dunno what it's worth, 427 FE s are getting rare.

Jeez, I don't mean to sound so whiny. Just been tough for the last few years. Anyway it's good to stop in and say hello...

Hey Ron . I was wondering what happen to you .. You have a beautiful boat and I am sure it will sell quick ..

Post the price and some pictures of both of the boats and we will get the word out that you need to sell these ..

I sure hate to hear about the trouble that you are having .. Hang in there ..

Hey Ron, long time no see. Man that sux, hate to hear about the knee problems. My dad went thru it a few years ago.

I gotta say, that Howard is nothing short of frikkin awesome. A time capsule if there ever was one. I recall at one time the original owners family had been in contact with you in some sort of way inquiring about getting it back from you or something to that effect. I guess if I was in your spot & thinking of selling it, I'd start there and see if they were in a position to buy it back. If they still wanted it that is.

Kenny - Ron does have one beautiful boat .. I remember that exact weekend at Plowman .. I helped Ron put his V-Drive in with his old Ford pickup .. Then we parked the two V-Drives side by side and then parked our old trucks side by side in my camp .. Nice pictures..  That Boat of Rons should bring a pretty penney .. Original  side oiler engine and prestine condition boat , and all original interior ..  VERY NICE ..  I enjoyed them sharing my campsite that weekend ..

That is me , I screwed it up again .. LOL .. I should have new power plant back in a few more weeks .. Staying away from E-85 this time .. It was my fault of course , trying to push it too hard ..  I sure hope your knees get better .. If you can't find anyone to take that old junky V-Drive off your hand , I will be glad to park it in my shed and keep it running for you .. Even though it does have a Ford in it .. LOL

Billy, good to hear you are almost running again. We are real close also, picking everything up Friday and we will be assembling this weekend.
