Thanks everyone. I think Ihave made it pass one of my goals so far. I went to the doc yesterday and it don't look to good. My infection level has gone back up in my leg and the knee seems to be swollen and hot. I may have to go back in the hospital and have the knee opened up and flushed out again. They may have to take all the metal out and wait 6 to 8 weeks or until all the infection is gone to put in new hardware. This will all be determined after Monday when I see the knee doc. looks like I still have a long way to go. Now my next goal is to make it to Cindy's daughters wedding which is June 4th. So thanks again everyone my Bday will be great and I think about you guys all the time and wish I could join In all the events that you guys and girls have planned. If I could ask as a bday wish is to take lot's of pics, That means a lot to me so that I can see everyone again. Bill"cookieman"

Happy birthday Bill. I had developed bone invection about 6 years ago and had to have the infected section of bone removed form my leg and put this contraption they call a Lazeroth External Fixator put on my leg for almost 3 years. I can certinally understand what you are goin thru. It can and may very well get discourging. I was told by several of my Jet boat freiunds just cut that dude off but I fought thru it and am glad I did. I still have problems some times but, I can walk around on my own leg. All I am trying to say is keep the faith and God will take care of it. Will continue to include you and your famil;y in our prayers.

From all your posts, I know you are going through a difficult time but we sure hope you have a great birthday & that you continue to meet the goals you are setting to beat this infection & get back into the swing of things!  :cool:
