Here is what I gotta say drove over to Dickenson which is in Galveston county,  I couldn't find a road I was looking for so pulled into a store and a Galveston county sheriff deputy was sitting there there and and asked for direction, well to keep the story, some what short, the deputy asked are you going there now, I said yes, the deputy said, I'll take you, follow me,  I really, thank you, so away we went and and a short time took me to where I needed to be.  So if I could say if I had a great morning I did, and by judging by the smile on the deputy's face,  it made her day to, just to do something for someone and without being call to deal with some asshole,  what I'm trying to say, is it's really nice to be able to walk up to a Peace Officer and get a smile and help,  it was just awesome  jump.gif clap.gif clap.gif

Good story, Kona.  I have found that when I'm stopped for a traffic violation (and I am on occasion) I usually start the conversation with a smile and an apology for breaking the speed limit.  Last time out I got a warning, which will help my driving record. clap.gif

Being a Commercial truck driver, I'm still waiting on one of those good experiences! Mine haven't been worth a darn yet! :smile25:
