Not bad, I've got an LS1 in my boat now and I've a huge fan of the Gen 3/4 GM engines...BUT I think hypereutectic pistons/powdered metal rods on a blown motor are stupid. It would stuck to pay that much money for an engine, just to have to put new pistons/rods in it for it to handle more power reliably...and at only 530 hp they left A LOT of power on the table...

I suppose this is geared more towards the "bought boat" I/O crowd; but still...I can buy an LS3 core, put a fully forged rotating assembly with a 2.3L roots or ATI, etc for probably 1/2 the price of this crate engine and make 1.5-2x the power.
