got a ? about my boat. i have a 18' taylor sj it has a 460 , berk 12-je with a "A" impellar no diverter yet. we gpsd it the other day it did 61mph at 4500 rpm had to start slowing down to turn (running out of lake lol) it was still pulling hard. i need to adjust ride plate up a little bit more. im wondering what to do as far as a wedge and diverter all that stuff. this is my first squirter. im want to keep a good ride, my kids still ride in the boat but i want to maybe get a little more and be able to shoot the roost. i know a diverter does that. but what would give the best performance without emptying the bank.

with the JE bowl you are limited to what you can do......  the bowl is not a split bowl and the best you can do is just add a deverter and the rooster tail may also be limited to the highth you my get out of it..... to add a wedge you will neet find a spit bowl to replace with the JE bowl,  then you have more options..... a shoe and loader is always a good start also, if your boat does not have one,  just my thinking aloud...

i have a river grate from a friend im gonna copy out of stainless. it will load the top of the pump. i work in a fab shop so im gonna copy. i need a diverter for my pump gotta have the roost.

The Trim (Diverter) is IMO the Hands down best "Bang for your Buck" money you'll spend on your lake boat , wedges are a good tool for hull "tuning" RE your intake loader be sure what you copy is a proven and effective piece If you need help call or post were curremtly "Proto typing a New "E" SS type right now Tom
