...Went out last Sat to make sure all the new stuff was running good after the new intake/carb.  Got the timing set on the ramp guess let it sit there and idle warm up for a while. got it off the trailer and started to go out lean popping like a mofo. get it back on the trailer and let it sit for a couple days. Anywho popped open the fill on the tank i was running it on.  it was dang near empty the other tank had fuel in it but wouldnt run on that side either. turns out the valve at the tank pickup was closed so the tank that had fuel in it was shut off.  hopefully will be running good now..

:smile18:  sounds like my luck!

Mine too..last time I took the Eliminator out I was in a hurry being the only guy in our group and trying to launch 2 boats and park 2 trucks on the 4th of July weekend  :smile20: and forgot to take the black toboggan off the scoop that I used to keep trash out of the engine while goin down the road. It sucked it down and covered up the back carb..never could figure out the problem of why it ran like crap and didn't wanna start until I got home...it happens.

I have done that a time or two finally put a REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT ribbon on it.  Looks cool and sometimes helps :smile26:
