Carrera jet boats

Considering one of two 18' Carrera jet boats with American turbine pumps.

Just stock lake boats for beer drinking, sun tanning.

Can someone tell about these boats in general. They look like well made machines but have been playing with v drives so not in the know about jets, need a family friendly rig with resale value. One is SBC and one BBC under consideration

Thanks  :smile21:

Nice looking boats, I don't have any personal experience with them, but have never heard anything bad about them either. Without knowing anything about these 2 particular boats I would at least be leaning towards the BBC as well....

Any pics?

At work now, no photos here.  Will give it a shot tonight, just got decent photos late last night.

The BBC boat is a 97 all white with 4 color graphics, white interior, L-29 gen VI, 330 hp with Basset twisty headers and Quadrajet carb, water seperator, cartridge fuel filter, dual remote oil filters, low hrs. stereo, under valued, owned by old man, (not as old as me), always stored indoors, minty clean.  Nice comp tandem trailer.  If I decide to pass on it, I will post it for others to consider.  Nice boat, good value for stock jet boat, I do like the gen IV BBC best, not thrilled with the power plant but not looking to rock the world with this purchase anyway.

Bought a 88 Miller, with a LS-6 shortblock and Merlin heads, 850 Holley, twisties, Berk with AB agressor and manditory Bimimi top.  All new cables and hell of nice trailer too.  Clean family boat.

Original gel coat that is tasteful with tan upholstery.

Will post photo from home computer soon.

Exactly, but a 88, off white primary color with brown, orange stripes and yellow accents and OT Basset twisties, tan interior, brown top.

Weather has been bad so have not had it in the water yet.

Miller fenders are fiberglass and trailer is boxed so it floats, so they say.
