Wow! To get the same dynamic compression from my new motor with the big roller as my current motor has with 9.5:1 static compression and small cam, I will have to setup the new motor up with 11:1 static compression!

that's why I compared the two. I had no problem running pump gas with the small motor. I could probably go to 12:1 and still get away with 93 and octane boost.

The new heads are cast iron so I don't want to push my luck plus I don't want the compression to be to high when I get a better cam.
