bowl help

I finally got the old impeller off and the new one on. The only problem is now the bowl wont fit on the end of the shaft. it will go on about an inch and thats it. any ideas?

Check the circumferance of the casting around the bowl seal area for radial cracks , this will somtimes throw the line bore off, also see if for some reason you "developed a slight "mushroom" at the end of your pump shaft when pressing off the bearing  call if we can help Tom
