BBC parts wanted

What you got?  I've got a '74 Tahiti that needs a rebuild on the 454.  I've got a couple of months left before I get home, so parts collection is starting now.  I've got a set of custom built turbo headers and a spare turbo to throw on the motor and ahve a little fun, just need some internals to support.  Not looking for a race motor, but if you have some old used/abandoned forged parts laying around, let me know!

Be very careful buying used parts. Wore out parts are just that...wore out parts. Save your self the grief and buy new!

I have no problem with used, but wore out is a different story!  Plenty of folks change their minds after they button up a motor and run it for a little bit...change directions and have used parts sitting in the shop that are still in perfect shape (ask me how I know  :smile19

Right on the money,Yea be carefull, had my share of bad blowers and heads. I could have had some aluminum heads for what I have in my steel Merlins  :shocked:

I understand...but what i'm sayin its-one persons used...is the machine shops wore out!!! Especially when it comes to internals. I give away good used parts and trash wore out stuff...BUT everyone doesnt look at it my way. Some will sell you something USED and say its USED-when in actuality its WORE OUT! Just be careful so you don't throw away money on junk.JUST SAYIN...
