Answers to issues, problems and lifes trials

Everyone on THB comes from different backgrounds. In this field of "Hot Boats"  there are often many ways to achieve the same end result. Sometimes the difference in advice is based on the perspective of an experienced technician who is "on the clock", versus a serious hobbyist or restoration expert who is going for a "six nines" (.999999 perfection) result. Sometimes the difference in advice is based on the way we were taught. The new person, as well as the one who thinks he knows, needs to read and examine all advice given, and decide for himself which is the lowest risk/highest reward approach. If someone posts advice that is flat out wrong, the community here will quickly (and hopefully, kindly) point out the flaw, and offer alternatives. We have all heard, "There is no dumb question." So...share as you will, take in what you want, and be ready for some strange, thought provoking comments.

That's good advice and something we should aways keep in mind.

Another way to say it could be, "you get what you pay for".  --Sometimes.--

LOL two things come to mind
1- Always have your boots on 'cause someone is full of BS.
2- Grandma always said,"there are those who you listen to 1/2 of what they say and don't believe any of it!"

Thanks-wish I could claim as my own, yet I found it on another site, took a little journalistic liberty (changed stuff)...but still gave credit. So thanks again-hope it helps some folks.
