Thinking of selling. Has a Chrysler 400 big block with lots of goodies in it. Eagle rods, forged crank, 906 heads, .484/284 cam, adjustable rockers, Edelbrock tm6 intake. New 800 Holley, Mallory unilite. Ran strong to 5800 rpm. Has hallcraft v-drive. 11 1/8 x 15 menkins 2 blade prop. Everything on boat has been refurbished. Fiberglass tanks removed, and aluminum tanks installed. Boat was painted about a month ago. Trailer is ugly but sturdy and has good bunks, and new tires, just haven't gotten to the trailer yet. Now for the bad..... took it out yesterday, was running great. On the way back, just cruising, it developed a knock, pretty sure its a rod. Im disgusted, and thinking about just selling it and getting another jet boat. $5000. or may trade for a nice jet with a back seat. Located in East Texas, Texarkana.

Hate to hear you had problems with it just after putting it all together. Sucks. Maybe you feel like looking into it after a couple days away from it. Looks like a damn nice boat.

A knock isn't that bad if its a spun bearing have the crank checked reground the rod resized and a new set of bearings put in and your good to go with new gaskets.

Pull her out and check her out.  I know its frustrating I have been there a lot lately with things going wrong but you will get through it.
