1966 Carlson V-drive, have original paperwork, built as a race boat from day-one, stringers are good, have drive shaft and hardware.  $1,000.  Will consider trade.

Where is this boat located? I'm very interested just because it's a Carlson. I can probably use my Glastron's original gauges to make a period correct. If it's a 66 then it predates Art Carlson's association is Glastron by three years.

Got a thumbs up from Maria on this one!! Half the battle is won.

This one has been listed on PB for quite a while.  I'll see if I can find the post.  I think it has the location in it.

Nice one wish I had the cash might have to add a VDrive to the party.  I would clearcoat it over and preserve the racing decals and history.

I really would like to get my hands on it and stick a Mopar Big Block back in it.  Clean it up clear it and just have it to show it off and run it every once in a while.  Wife wouldn't understand it until current project is done though.  I love the history this one has though.  My Father in law is up in plainview right now too.

It's got Buy Me written all over it CJ! :smile16:
Yeah it does if I ad the cash it would be sitting behind my father in laws truck right now.  I could have a motor in it and have it on the water faster than the CJ.

Only one problem its a race boat and only seats two.  Anyone got a double decker boat trailer for hauling two boats at once?  Or maybe a double length trailer with an adjustable axle setup.  I know a double wide wont work.

Thats got me thinking I wonder if I can something.

Thats almost what I was thinking.  Use some hydraulic rams to raise and secure the second boat above the first but I would probably not make it as high as that.  Try to make it lower.

Not another double decker trailer idea, lol... I bet that would tow just awesome. :cheesy:
Get it low enough with a low profile boat it just might.  Would have to have a wide enough axle though.
