Went to watch drag racing at the track in Baytown last weekend. I haven't been there in 15 years. Wow has it changed. The racing was good, but the weather was a bit cool.

Went to the boat show, and they actually had three performance boats there this year. The sticker price gave me a shock though! :smile20: 1. 22' Donzi classic $ 129,000 2. 27" Baja  $179,000 3 Big Donzi, not sure of length. $555,000

The old man decided it was time for a new boat house this year! Guess I won't be able to use that excuse anymore! :smile14:

So does anyone have any upgrades or repairs planned for the down season? I am going to finish the engine cover for my Hawaiian so I can hopefully splash the Ol girl once more next year! I have only had the engine cover sitting there for 6 years I think.  crazy.gif

Saw this one at Buckeye's in Madisonville yesterday. Looked like the truck had Oklahoma plates. Guess someone up there has a new project.  think.gif

Working on replacing an old steering cable. It has the steering extension on it, and the boat has been in salt water. The two pieces have since been married together with corrosion. Anyone have any tricks or tips for separating the two, or by new parts. :smile21:
