Flew into Phoenix on Tuesday for Thanksgiving. We has 8 for dinner. It was a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and I managed to only eat one plate full. Yae me!

Friday we headed North for Sedona. We stopped in a mountain town called Jerome. This town was created to support a big copper mine down in the valley. Jerome is literally on a steep mountain side.

Also in Jerome is what used to be an insane asylum now converted to a quaint hotel with only 24 rooms. They say there are ghosts in the building.

A bit about the roads. Once you get of the 17 it's a winding switchback white knuckle ride thru Jerome to Sedona. Spectacular views but hairy non the less.

Sedona in a trendy, artsey kind of town. It supposed to have one of those "force" deals somewhere around where you go a meditate and get energized. We were supposed to go hiking but Kenda had a photo shoot in the area with a local photographer. It was pretty chilly out of the sun. Low was 27, high was 50 maybe. We head back Sunday after breakfast.

You missed the Vortex?
It would be a bit cool to sit and meditate with those temperatures, but it is pretty in the area.
