well i have "snails" and i would definitely say they are not gay... but any ways, the only maintance on them is keep them flushed and if you like shiny, keep them polished... when i had my manifolds of and snails off, i did pressure test them for leaks on the water side !
Thanks for the info. I just got her last year, ran her hard, and didn't make time for any correct repairs. now it's time for rebuild and modify. any information helps.
is the pic of the motor in your boat, and is it a BBF ? one other tip...check you transom/exshaust tips for cracks when you pull the engine. when i had mine off i found one bad tip
yea this is her before the start of modification. thanks for the advise. no exhaust tip cracks. blown head gasket though. need a fancy regulator, my old school gate valve just doesn't work very well with keeping system pressure low enough. got suggestions for a good valve?
