removing impeller

Any tips on pulling impellar off the shaft-got the nut off (that sounds bad) -puller?  thanks

Back in my "pre-vdrive" days, I pulled the impeller off with a gear puller.  I got one on it, snugged it up, then took a ratchet strap around the puller to keep it from popping off.  It worked for me.  No guarantees.

I am in deep do-do!!!!!!!!!!!! The shaft is trashed as well as the suction assembly-the impeller welded wear ring into housing at one position-I thin the term by JBP was abraided. 

Do any of you know of any other alternatives on a 12je -I attached a pick-thanks

Maybe an old dominator type impeller and ring might work for awhile.
